Pastor Jeremy Simpson
Jeremy Simpson is Wesley's CoPastor.
He has Michigan roots but loves his second home state of Connecticut. He is a passionate teacher, pastor, musician, and creative. He has grown to love Kalamazoo and is excited to be working with Wesley.
Jeremy is currently completing his MA from Western Theological Seminary. Prior to working with Wesley, Jeremy was employed in both faith and secular roles. He loves playing with his kids Jayden and Zoe, and is inspired to begin his work with the Wesley team.
Pastor Jess Davenport
Jess Davenport is Wesley's CoPastor and a Pastor at Portage Chapel Hill Church.
She is married to Torey, and they have a toddler named Tommy who keeps them busy. She Received her MDiv from Wesley Theological Seminary and is a Provisional Elder in the UMC.
Jess is passionate about connecting young adults with a God who loves them beyond measure, and helping them find ways to live out how/where God is calling them.

Asti is the recipient of a Bachelors of Arts in Non-Profit Leadership from LaGrange College. Now, serving as a Global Mission Fellow with the General Board of Global Ministries, he is serving and sharing in ministry at Wesley of Kalamazoo. He’s looking forward to walking along students in a way that draws cultures together while cultivating an appreciation for differences. He believes that given our distinct differences, we remain whole in the body of Christ.
Board of Directors
The Wesley Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. This includes Alexandria Lueth, President; Gail Secord, Vice President; Derek Andree, Treasurer; Dr. Diane Owen-Rogers, Secretary; Pastor Jess Davenport, Director; and at large members Sarah House, and Rev. David Newhouse.
The Wesley Foundation is part of the West Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church.
